Summer Finn - Zooey Deschanel
Rachel Hansen - Chloe Moretz
McKenzie - Geoffrey Arend
Autumn - Minka Kelly
Tom Hansen has waited long enough for the right girl. The event that he has been looking forward to, happened when he met Summer Finn in an office meeting. This was the moment where Tom realized that Summer was the one.
And he was very surprised knowing that Summer had the same music interest as him. They’re both interested with The Smiths. This scene inside the elevator really made me go like, “I have to watch this movie". I laughed so hard when Tom responded, "Holy shit". That part was good, I tell ya.
“To die by your side is such a heavenly way to die” –The Smiths (There Is A Light That Never Goes Out)
The scene where the back song was “You Make My Dreams” by Hall & Oates was tremendous. Everything seems right. The matching blue colored outfits, the dance, and the part where Tom pictured himself as one of the Hall & Oates member winking on a car’s window is just witty. And that blue cartoon bird gave the movie a little Disney-y touch. It’s kinda cute actually. That dance sure took a lot of time to practice.
The plot is pretty unique. Well, not precisely unique since the other directors have used this plot on their films. The reason I call it unique is because the plot makes the audience intrigued. Yes, I’m pretty much a big fan of this kinda plot
